Instructions for Use:
These instructions are intended to remove excess dye and chemicals, preshrink the fabric, and in some cases will brighten the colors.
Peel paper backing off with your fingetips or use a pin to catch the edge.
Fill sink or tub (large enough to keep the fabric flat) with a couple in inches of cold to lukewarm water. Use clean, clear water with each piece of fabric. Rinse only one sheet at a time.
Dip the fabric into the water only for a few seconds. As you insert and remove the fabric from the water, hold it by the top corners so that it does not fold over. Make sure the fabric is completely immersed in the water. Do not allow the fabric to fold over onto itself. It is normal to see colors in the water.
Use an absorbent towel large enough for the towel to fold over. Place the fabric flat onto the towel, then fold the towel over the fabric and blot to remove the excess water. It is normal to see the excess dye on the towels. Do not wring or twist the fabric to remove the excess water.
To dry: Always keep the fabric flat. Air dry or blow-dry gently. Do not iron the fabric to dry it (it may scorch).
You may iron the printed fabric when it is completely dry. If desired, you may also apply Scotch Guard.
There is no need for steaming or other post-processing!
