Hobbs Heirloom Cotton Blend batting was created at the request of Harriet Hargrave to meet the needs of quilters. This batting is easy to quilt by hand or machine and can be quilted up to 4 inches apart. Hobbs Heirloom cotton-poly blend batting shrinks about 3 percent and can be preshrunk to minimize undesired shrinkage. This Hobbs Heirloom Premium Cotton Blend quilt batting is very clean cotton mixed with 20 percent polyester, lightly needlepunched, and lightly resinated. The result is a dream batting for the quilter who has been looking for GREAT COTTON BATTING. There are no limitations for this quilt batting and it has more loft than the typical cotton batting which gives more definition to the stitch than other cottons.
